Dreana Rubel
Dreana joined Northwestern University in October 2003 as the Manager of Center Operations at the Searle Center. In 2006, she became the Center Manager and is thrilled to be providing almost 20 years of administrative support to many of the programs and projects at the Searle Center. Some of her responsibilities include: budget management, staff payroll and HR processing, facilities management, supervision of work study students and many other general department administration tasks.
Dreana holds a B.S. in anthropology from Northern Illinois University, where she also minored in Art History. She has had additional post-secondary science training at Northeastern Illinois University. She brings expertise in finance and payroll systems. Since joining the Searle Center, she has earned certification through the University Business Processes Series and continues to develop her managerial skills.
Dreana’s current scholarly interests include a commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion at Northwestern, and she is a member of the 5th cohort of the Women’s Center sponsored dialogue-based series entitled Change Makers.
