Reimagining Assessment Practicum (RAP)

This OER presents strategies that enable students to maximize learning and growth, emphasizing approaches and alternative methods that make grading a more meaningful interaction between instructors and students. Video resources include sessions on optimizing Canvas for grading and feedback, a Northwestern student panel on socio-emotional wellness, and a keynote address on authentic evaluation by Robert Talbert, co-author of Grading for Growth (2023).

Created by the Northwestern University Reimagining Assessment Practicum (RAP) Faculty and Staff, this resource has been adapted from the practicum offered at Northwestern University in 2023 and 2024.
