Lina Rombalsky Eskew

Lina Eskew joined the Searle Center in July 2022. She leads initiatives that encourage deeper reflection on student learning and help advance institutional assessment strategy. Lina earned a doctorate in political science and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.
Prior to joining the Searle Center as Senior Assistant Director of Assessment, Lina served as District Director for Decision Support at City Colleges of Chicago. Her portfolio included data access and literacy, standards and accreditation reporting, survey design, and research. In other roles, Lina has supported and led initiatives related to assessment, institutional research, curriculum development, and program review.
As an adjunct instructor, Lina has taught graduate courses in assessment, public administration theory, and quantitative methods at multiple institutions, including DePaul University, National Louis University, Roosevelt University, and the University of Illinois Chicago.
Lina is passionate about leveraging assessment data to improve student learning and advance student success.
