Lina Eskew joined the Searle Center as Assistant Director of Equitable Assessment in July of 2022. She is excited to lead initiatives that encourage deeper reflection on student learning as well as guide and move forward institutional assessment strategy. Lina earned a doctorate in political science and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Prior to becoming Senior Assistant Director of Equitable Assessment, Lina served as a District Director for Decision Support at City Colleges of Chicago. Her portfolio included data access and literacy, compliance reporting, and survey design and research.

Lina has supported and led assessment, institutional research, program curriculum, and program review initiatives at various higher education institutions across the Chicagoland area and New York City.

As an Adjunct Instructor, Lina has taught graduate coursework in assessment, public administration theory, and quantitative methods to diverse student populations at multiple institutions including DePaul University, National Louis University, Roosevelt University, and University of Illinois at Chicago.

Lina is passionate about leveraging data to drive equitable student outcomes and committed to student success.
